I'm always dipping into Boswell's Life of Johnson, it never gets old! It's hard to imagine two more different personalities who get on!
A 2023 movie,I didn't expect to like much, but in the end did like is Tár. Cate Blanchett plays an aggressive, pretty nasty, but somehow sympathetic, genius symphony conductor. It's pretty dark, but an interesting study in hubris.
